Privacy Policy
Effective 28 August 2026. This policy is for RaiseSpace (raisespace.org).
RaiseSpace sells fundraising playbooks. You sign in with an email link (no password). Purchases and free claims attach to that email. You open them in My Library.
Questions: hello@raisespace.org.
This is a privacy notice, not legal advice.
1. Who we are
RaiseSpace operates this website. The seller of record on a paid order is the business name printed on your Stripe receipt. We do not publish a separate mailing address on this site. Write hello@raisespace.org.
2. What this site is
- Free playbooks can be claimed after you sign in. No card is required for those titles.
- Paid playbooks (listed price at checkout; currently $19 USD unless the checkout screen shows another amount) are yours after Stripe reports the session paid. They then appear under your email in My Library.
- Playbooks are written checklists. They are not legal, tax, or permit advice.
3. Information we handle
A. Email for accounts and receipts
We use your email to send a sign-in link, to attach playbooks you claim or buy, and to match a Stripe receipt if you write us about an order. That is the account. There is no password.
B. Stripe Checkout (paid titles only)
Checkout runs on Stripe. Card number, expiry, and CVC go to Stripe, not into a RaiseSpace form we store. Stripe processes the card.
Stripe typically collects:
- Email (for the receipt)
- Payment method details (Stripe holds these)
- Billing country / ZIP as Stripe requests
- Amount, currency (USD), playbook name, and which title you bought
Read Stripe’s own notices at stripe.com/privacy.
C. Sign-in session cookies
When you click the sign-in link we email you, the site keeps you signed in with a session cookie. That cookie only remembers that you are signed in on this browser. It is not how you own a playbook. Ownership is the purchase or free claim on your email, which you reopen from My Library on any device after you sign in again.
Clearing cookies signs you out of this browser. It does not delete the playbooks on your email. Sign in again with the same address.
D. Email you send us
If you write hello@raisespace.org, we get whatever you put in the message (and your email address). Use that inbox for questions about a playbook or an order, or if a file will not open. Do not send card numbers. The email on your Stripe receipt is enough.
E. Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on ordinary web infrastructure (currently Vercel when deployed). Hosts and DNS see standard request logs (IP, user agent, URL, time) for security and uptime. We do not sell those logs. We do not run a separate analytics vendor on this site.
4. Why we use it (purposes)
| Purpose | What |
|---|---|
| Sell a playbook | Stripe Checkout |
| Keep your library | Email on the purchase or free claim |
| Keep you signed in | Session cookie after the email link |
| Receipts | Stripe receipt email |
| Answer support | Email you send to hello@raisespace.org |
| Keep the site up | Hosting logs |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent email lists. We do not use session cookies for ads.
5. Processors
- Stripe — payment and receipts
- Website host — serves the app, sign-in, and playbook files
We do not send playbook purchases to a separate email-marketing or CRM tool in this version.
6. How long
- Stripe keeps payment records for as long as Stripe and the card networks require (and as long as we need them for tax and disputes).
- Library / email — as long as we keep the title available to the email that paid or claimed it.
- Session cookie — until it expires or you sign out / clear site cookies.
- Support email — as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the issue.
7. Your choices
- Do not check out if you do not want Stripe to see a payment.
- Clear site cookies to sign out of this browser. Sign in again to reopen My Library.
- California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those words are used in the CCPA/CPRA for cross-context ads. To ask what we have, email hello@raisespace.org with the email on the Stripe receipt (or the email you sign in with).
EEA/UK visitors: Checkout is a purchase contract. Stripe is the payment processor. The session cookie is strictly necessary to keep you signed in after the email link. There is no marketing cookie required to browse the catalog or open a free title after you claim it.
8. Children
RaiseSpace is written for adult fundraising chairs (churches, schools, PTOs, fire departments). It is not directed at children under 13. Do not check out as a child. Playbook rules about photos of minors are for your event, not for this website’s checkout.
9. Changes
We will date a new version at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means the new notice applies.

Terms of Use
Effective 28 August 2026. These terms govern RaiseSpace (raisespace.org).
By using the site or completing Stripe Checkout, you agree to this page, Privacy, and Sales policy. If you do not agree, do not check out.
Support: hello@raisespace.org.
This is not a law-firm retainer. Playbooks are not legal advice.
1. The product
RaiseSpace sells digital fundraising playbooks — written checklists for a chair running a specific event.
- Free titles are free. Sign in with your email to claim them. They then appear in My Library.
- Paid titles are sold at the price Stripe Checkout shows (catalog default $19 USD unless checkout shows another amount). You pay once per title on that Checkout. There is no subscription in this version.
- Delivery is on this site. Sign in with an email link (no password). Open and download titles from My Library. We do not mail a binder.
2. Sign-in
There is no password. Request a sign-in link with your email. Purchases and free claims attach to that email. That is how you keep access on a new phone or browser.
3. License (what you may do)
When a playbook is on your email in My Library, RaiseSpace grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Read the playbook on this site for your own fundraising work
- Print or copy pages for your committee for one organization running that event
- Adapt checklists, prices, and dates to your hall, church, school, PTO, or fire department
You may not:
- Resell, republish, or post the playbook as a competing product or public download
- Share the paid file as a second storefront
- Remove RaiseSpace marks and claim the document as your original commercially published playbook
- Scrape the library or bypass checkout to open a paid title you did not buy
- Use Checkout to buy access for a shared team login — sign-in is one email, not a shared password
4. Sales are final
Playbooks are digital goods. All sales are final. If a file is missing or will not open, email hello@raisespace.org and we will replace the download. See Sales policy.
5. Not legal, tax, or permit advice
Playbooks tell a first-time chair what to ask a clerk, a carrier, a kitchen, or a board. They are not a substitute for:
- A lawyer, CPA, or licensed insurance broker
- Your municipality’s actual raffle, food, alcohol, or occupancy rules
- Your denomination, school district, or fire chief
Fundraising results are not guaranteed. Weather, turnout, and volunteers are yours.
6. Checkout and payment
- Payment is Stripe Checkout in USD.
- Card data is entered on Stripe. RaiseSpace does not store your card number.
- Taxes appear only if Stripe Checkout is configured to collect them. The amount you authorize is the amount on the Checkout screen.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attack the site or attempt to open paid playbooks you did not buy. Do not use the playbooks to run illegal gambling, unlicensed alcohol service, or anything your jurisdiction forbids. We may refuse service to someone who is abusing Checkout or the library.
8. Availability
We aim to keep titles you own reachable in My Library. We do not promise 100% uptime. Hosting or Stripe can fail a request. Email hello@raisespace.org if a title you paid for or claimed will not open after you sign in.
We may update playbook text. Your license is to the current file for that title, not a frozen copy unless we later sell one.
9. Disclaimer
The site and playbooks are provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, RaiseSpace disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost fundraising revenue, volunteer disputes, permit denials, or food-borne illness at your event.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent allowed by law, RaiseSpace’s total liability for a paid playbook is the amount you paid Stripe for that playbook. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without a private arbitration clause on this page. Local consumer rules that cannot be waived still apply where you live.
12. Changes
We will date a new version at the top. The version in force is the one posted when you check out, plus any update you continue to use after we post it.
